If you're not from the area, you may only know the Canyon Lake area for the lake, but that's just the start.  The Canyon Lake Reservoir feeds the Guadalupe River downstream to New Braunfels and beyond, so the river is just as important as the lake itself.  This year, we've had more than our share of rainfall, so the lake is very active and interest in lake properties is active as well.

Canyon Lake has long been known as the ultimate getaway, with residents who enjoy places like The Devil's Backbone.  However, more recently, significant development has occurred on Canyon Lake's north and west side -- especially in affluent price ranges.  Custom homes are the norm, with little in the way of production or tract home developments.  Community infrastructures are developing as well, adding social and support services for more than 29,000 residents.  This development is expected to continue to handle the increased demand for newcomers relocating from several different major real estate markets.
